Cleveland Clinic Bioethics Department

Cleveland Clinic's commitment to quality patient care includes a deep concern for the ethical aspects of medicine. The Department of Bioethics was established in 1983 and is administratively located in the Chief of Staff's Office.  The Department's mission includes clinical consultation, research ethics, institutional ethics support, education, and research.

Featured Events

The Department is pleased to offer standing educational events on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. The first Tuesday of each month will feature Bioethics Grand Rounds, and on the third Tuesday of each month there will be an in-depth Bioethics Case Study.
